KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – Property platform MHub signed two Memorandums of Understanding with Contech solutions. One with Hong Kong based MES Group and another with Speedbrick Solutions. This is a strategic move to increase end-to-end digital adoption for better efficiency that will benefit all stakeholders.

MHub CEO Quek Wee Siong says, “MHub is excited to collaborate with MES and Speedbrick. It is time to advance the proptech-contech marketplace and we see huge potential in industry adoption starting with our respective user base.”

“It is a great honour for MES Group to be signing this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with TRB Ventures Sdn Bhd (MHub) to develop a total solution for the property market.” says Sr. Miranda Lui, MES Group Founder and Managing Director.

Speedbrick’s Teoh Pui Mun explains, “This is a long-awaited collaboration. I believe this collaboration will better service developers who are also acting as contractors.”

The proptech-contech leaders plan to cross sell each others’ core products, but the prime takeaway for both company and consumer will be the boosts in productivity, reduced costs and an overall more systematic workflow.

“Our combined technology can and will streamline information across stakeholders in their property and construction divisions. We are expecting 100% accurate automated reports to aid decision-makers. We estimate that our collaboration will help companies save up to 133 hours per month" Teoh adds.

To date, not many actions have been taken to advance the local construction sector despite the ongoing adoption of Industry 4.0, also known as the move towards digitalisation in the workforce. The implementation lag in the field of construction is attributed to the mismatch of skills within the industry and the little knowledge on contech. However, MHub and their latest allies intend to introduce some much needed novelty to Malaysia’s Industry 4.0.

Sr. Lui remarks, “With both our expertise on the upstream and downstream of this business, we are confident that we will be able to develop a total solution for the betterment of the Property Industry that will rival none.”
